The May Festival at Chester Racecourse will be run as an unlicensed heliport, with H1 RFF and limited ground handling facilities.  Permission to land is granted by way of a landing permit containing procedures to follow, layout of the site, routes to follow, etc.  An administration fee of £95-00 + VAT is chargeable per landing.

Other race meetings at Chester may be administered on an unmanned basis, dependant upon levels of helicopter traffic expected.  The administration fee in these circumstances will be £58-40 + VAT per landing.  Again, a landing permit will be issued similar to above but will include information about all other expected traffic.

Landing permits will only be issued upon receipt of a valid booking form and completed insurance indemnity.  To this end, it is important to note that all future landings at Chester Racecourse will be strictly PPR.
